Refund Policy

At Centre Unity, we work hard to ensure you have a trouble-free journey when making a contribution and we want to make it as smooth as possible. However we realise that sometimes errors can happen.

We’re a friendly bunch and we may ask you a few questions to determine what’s happened so that we can help in any way that we can.

We are committed to the highest standards of legal compliance and we treat all requests for refunds with the utmost importance.
Your concerns are important to us and we want to reassure you that we’ll update you every step of the way.
Before we are able to consider your request, we will need some paperwork from you and it may be the case that we can’t proceed without it.

Once we receive everything, we can then advise you of how long things will take – usually 7-10 working days.

Centre Unity have developed a contribution refund policy as part of our commitment to honouring and respecting the financial contributions that people make to us. We recognise the importance of contributions and want to ensure we establish appropriate principles of transparency and fairness in regard to the management of refunds.

This policy outlines the circumstances under which Centre Unity will refund a contribution.

Scope

This policy applies to all those who make financial contributions to Centre Unity.

Policy statement

Centre Unity expects that anyone wishing to contribute consider their decision carefully and check contribution amounts during transactions.

Centre Unity recognises that it is possible to make an error when making online contribution or for the donors to change their mind about the contribution made. It can also occur that an error can be made by Centre Unity or our financial institution/processor.

Under this policy Centre will endeavour to refund contributions in accordance with the following principles:

Principles

If an error is made in making online contribution or if the donor changes their mind, we will honor all requests for refund that are made in writing within 30 days of the date the contribution was made. The written refund request should include the details of the initial transaction including date, contribution amount, donor's name, ID, tax invoice number and the nature of the error.
Requests for refund can be sent by email, mail:

Email: [email protected]
Mail: Centre Unity, Lvl 9/377 Sussex St Sydney, 2000.
Phone: 0458 653 623

Centre Unity will fully examine all requests for refund and endeavour to ensure that genuine errors are rectified, however we are under no obligation to give refunds and the decision on refunds will be at Centre Unity’s discretion.

Refunds will be returned using the original method of payment – if contribution has been made by credit card, the refund must be credited to that same credit card.

Should an error be made by Wesley Mission or our financial institution(s), a refund of the full amount will be made once we are notified of the error in writing.
